Poachers targeted in Ryedale

Poachers targeted Police are targeting poachers in Ryedale, Inspector Andy Everitt has told the Malton Rural East Community and Police group meeting in Rillington.

The main culprits were coming into the district from the Humber and the North East, he said.

Police are carrying out joint patrols with the rural Country Watch members.

Officers are also working with the NFU to combat the theft of scrap metal.
