Malton hit-and-run appeal

POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was knocked over by a car as she crossed The Mount near the junction of Horsemarket Road in Malton.
As the woman was crossing the road at 5.20pm last Monday, she was hit by a dark-coloured vehicle which did not stop and continued to travel along The Mount towards Middlecave Road.
The woman suffered pain and discomfort to her back and shoulder but did not require hospital treatment.
