Future of Malton skatepark secured

THE future of a local skatepark is secure after Malton and Norton town councils agreed to take it on.
Ryedale District Council said it was pulling its funding due to spending cuts. But it has now agreed to continue spending between £12,000-£14,000 a year for the next two years, and the two town councils will then take over running of the park.
