Business fraud trial date set for April

THE trial for the former Ryedale businessman accused of fraud will be held on April 22 at Teesside Crown Court.

Guy Brudenell, 42, formerly of Nawton, and now of Lammas Court, Scarcroft, Leeds, faces allegations totalling £1 million involving property investments in 2008 and 2009 and making false emails between February and December 2009.

The case has been transferred to the Middlesbrough court from York Crown Court for administrative reasons. He was released on bail after a plea and case management hearing at Teesside Crown Court.
