A NEW business offering a number of specialist treatments has opened in Malton.

The Clinic in Newbiggin is owned by James Stanley, a foot and ankle orthopaedic consultant based in York, and Carly Bodill, a podiatrist, who has worked in the field of biomechanics for the past seven years.

Carly said: “As the business idea evolved, it was recognised that a variety of professionals could work from the same property to provide a high standard of different treatments. Currently, there are physiotherapists, podiatrists, chiropodists, reflexologists, sports therapists and facial aesthetics that work from The Clinic.”

Carly said they had already received a positive response would be holding an open day on Saturday, March 2.

“Malton was a preferred choice of location from the start as it is an accessible location to all the surrounding villages, towns and cities and the overwhelming sense of support and encouragement for new business development was apparent from the day of being shown around the property by the local estate agent,” she said.
