Safe is stolen from garage at Scarborough

A SAFE containing a “large amount” of cash has been stolen from a garage in North Yorkshire.

The safe was taken during a burglary at a garage in Roscoe Street, Scarborough, between 8.30pm on Thursday and 7.30am yesterday.

Anybody who saw the theft or has information about it should phone 101, select option two and ask for PC Holly Hornsby or Scarborough Police, or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
