A NEW boxing club has been launched in Malton aimed at all abilities and ages.
Richard Scarth, a former professional boxer, has teamed up with Tony Greenwood of Image Fitness in Market Place to create Fighting Fit amateur boxing club as well as boxercise classes for men and women.
Tony said: “There has been a lot of interest since we put the ring up and the boxing has already proved really popular.
“Famous sportsmen all use boxing to maintain their fitness as it uses all muscles in the body and really works up a sweat.”
Richard, who previously ran a club in Norton, said he was delighted with the new venue.
“It is fantastic to have these premises and be working with Tony,” he said.
“Boxing is a great way to keep fit and my aim is to cater for all abilities and age groups.”
