PEOPLE in Scarborough can phone a hotline for advice on heating during the cold weather.
The Home Heat Helpline is a free, impartial and confidential service to connect people on low incomes with support, including rebates, grants for insulation and new boilers, and advice on saving energy, worth an average of £160.
Coun Bill Chatt said one in ten households may benefit from the service.
Phone the Home Heat Helpline on 0800 336699.
