POLICE are appealing for information after cash was stolen from a bandit machine at the Hyde Park pub in Norton.
Four men were seen in the pub at about 5pm on Friday when they played on the machine before leaving. They returned at about 7.15pm and played pool and the bandit machine again.
Two of the men then created a distraction while the other two forced the front of the machine and removed the cash, believed to be between £200-£300, before making off on foot along Mill Street in the direction of Beverley Road.
The first suspect is described as white, about 6ft and stocky with shaved dark brown hair. He had a distinctive deep scar from the corner of his mouth in a curve up towards his ear and possibly another scar on the other side of his face. He was wearing a blue jumper/hoodie, possibly with a yellow logo on the front, and appeared to be about 25.
The second man was about 6ft and stocky with short dark hair and wore a white t-shirt, possibly with a picture of a female on the front, and appeared to be in his mid-20s. The third suspect was about 5ft 6in of slim build and with short dark hair.
He was wearing a white jumper or hoodie and had a Glaswegian accent. The final man was about 6ft, of stocky build. He was possibly wearing a black jacket and again appeared to be in his mid 20s.
