RYEDALE Folk Museum re-opens for its new season on Sunday after a busy winter behind the scenes.
Kevin Simms, museum director, said staff and volunteers had been working hard to get everything ready.
The new year brings a range of fresh plans including a new public accessible library, archive and research room, an extension of the gift shop, expansion of the T G Willey photographic display and the development of three new heritage cycle routes.
There are also a number of new events in the pipeline including a 1940s tea dance and blacksmithing courses, as well as the return of the Tractor and Engine Day and the Wonders of Wood weekend.
