World of Cooking Club launched in Malton

Chef Gunter Schwark prepares for the forthcoming cooking club at the Mount Hotel, Malton
A NEW cooking club had been launched aimed at people who enjoy talking about food.
The World of Cooking Club will be held every Tuesday at the Mount Hotel in Yorkersgate, Malton.
Owner Gunter Schwark said he had come up with the idea because he loved to talk about food.
“I like to talk to customers about food and recipes and hear about their skills and favourite food,” he said.
“The aim is to get people together who are interested in learning more about the world of cooking and share ideas.”
Gunter also hopes to have a presentation or talk once a month and occasional charity dinners.
“Everyone has an area they specialise in – be it baking or sauces – so it will be nice to share these skills with other people,” he said.
“The club is open to everyone, whatever their background, and there is no charge.”
The World of Cooking Club will be held in The Mount’s German bar and restaurant at 8pm.
