Drama kids are all shook up by ‘Elvis’

Members of the Pickering Youth Theatre show how they can really rock before a visit to the town by a top Elvis tribute performer later this month.

Adam Carter will be appearing at the Kirk Theatre on Saturday, January 26, at 7.30pm.

Theatre manager Luke Arnold said although Elvis may have long since hung up his blue suede shoes, his music and songs lived on and the show would entertain people of all ages and musical tastes.

“Adam is a very talented young entertainer, with a fantastic tribute show to Elvis and we are delighted to welcome him to Pickering,” he said.

Tickets are available from Television House, Market Place, Pickering, and the Kirk Theatre box office, which is open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 1pm, or phone 01751 474833.
