Still time to help Pickering’s shoeboxes appeal

First published in News

People who have been planning to support the annual shoebox appeal in the Pickering area are being reminded that Saturday is the final date for the collection of boxes.

There will be a coffee morning in the Potter Hill Methodist Church Schoolroom, from 10am to noon, to collect the boxes and wrap up other boxes to be filled.

On Sunday, during the morning service at the church, completed boxes and filler items will also be collected.

For further details or to drop a box off, phone area organiser, Daphne Bowes on 01751 475143.
