POLICE are searching for a driver after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision in North Yorkshire.
The victim was crossing the road outside Scarborough Hospital, in Woodlands Drive, at about 12.40pm last Wednesday when he was knocked to the ground by a dark blue car, possibly a Renault. He suffered a minor leg injury.
Anybody who saw the collision should phone police on 101, select option two and ask for PC Georgia Hanson or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
