New exhibitors at Castle Howard Christmas fair

ALMOST half of all exhibitors at this year’s NSPCC Christmas Fair at Castle Howard will be new to the event.

The fair, held annually since 2000, has raised more than £345,000 for the children’s charity.

Joint chairman Laura Boddy said: “With 65 stalls, of which almost half are new exhibitors, the 2012 fair offers something for everyone.”

In another first for the event, the preview evening on Thursday, November 8 will include performances by the choir of St Martin’s Ampleforth School, with the fair itself held the next day, 9.30am – 3.30pm.

Tickets for the preview evening are £12.50 per person to include glass of wine and canapes and for the Christmas Fair £7 per person.

Raffle tickets which will be sold at Pickering’s Co-Op on Friday, November 2. Tickets will also be sold at the fair.
