Road accident casualties figures fall

A REPORT by North Yorkshire Police reveals that there has been a reduction in the number of road accident casualties in the county over the past year.

Of those injured, however, the number aged 60-69 has risen by 17 per cent in the past year to 210.

The number of motorcyclists killed or seriously injuried in the past year dropped 16 per cent, while the number of young people involved in serious accidents fell by 22 per cent.
