FIVE students from Dance Expresson have been dancing their way to success.
Isabel Ward, aged six, will be appearing as a Babe in the Grand Opera House pantomime in York, alongside eight-year-old Lucy Metcalfe.
Lucy has also been accepted as a scholar at the RAD Yorkshire Scholarship Centre in York, and recently appeared in Les Sylphides, with the Regional Youth Ballet Company at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in York, along with fellow pupil Ella Piercy.
Abbie Mitchell, aged eight, will join Lucy as a scholar at the RAD Yorkshire Scholarship Centre.
Kirstie Reid, who is 13, will be appearing as a senior dancer in the Grand Opera House panto.
Anna Wragg, from Dance Expression, which is based in Norton, said: “The panto, which is Sleeping Beauty, is a professional production where the girls were chosen form nearly 100 across the local area. These are all brilliant achievements and we are proud as we always are when the youngsters have great success.”
