A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after allegedly ploughing his truck into a line of parked cars and then leaving the scene.
The 29-year-old man from Pickering was stopped by police after an incident on High Street, Thornton-le-Dale at 6.45am on Saturday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the man abandoned his truck in the village and was later arrested.
He was taken to Scarborough Police station for questioning and was released on bail until May 26.
