THE Shed’s autumn programme continues with fun and games on Saturday night with the legendary Mrs Boyes’ Bingo.
The brainchild of The Shed’s Simon Thackray, Mrs Boyes’ Bingo was premiered at The Shed in 1999 during the first Yorkshire Pudding Boat Race weekend.
It is described as ‘a bog-standard game of prize bingo with simultaneous drumming and percussion disruption’, starring 71-year-old Eileen Boyes from Malton calling bingo and featuring Mark Sanders on drums.
The evening opens with a special duo performance by Gail Brand on trombone and Mark on drums and is billed as a pumpkin-lit Halloween Special, held at Hovingham Village Hall.
Doors open at 7pm, tickets cost £12.50.
