AWARD-winning Yorkshire theatre company Talking Stock Productions will be bringing one of their most powerful dramas to Weaverthorpe - a thought-provoking piece inspired by the true life story of daughter caring for her father who has Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Last Memory, a poignant yet positive play about dementia, will be a fundraiser for Wolds Valley Churches and the Alzheimer’s Society’s Side by Side Project. It is being performed at Weaverthorpe Village Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday, January 27, followed by an interval, then an optional Q&A session.
“We’re delighted Talking Stock are helping to raise both awareness and funds with this wonderful piece of drama,” said Bernadette Brown, from Alzheimer’s Society.
Tickets are available from Caroline Bradshaw on 07980 010771, from the Three Tuns, West Lutton or The Star, Weaverthorpe.
