IT’S PANTO time once again and Pickering Musical Society have taken to the stage for their annual production at the Kirk Theatre.

This year the performance is a more traditional title for director Luke Arnold, Goldilocks & The Three Bears written by Society Life Member Ron Hall.

The story follows the traditional tale with a few twists and turns including a brief trip to the North Pole.

This year we welcome Alice Rose to her first title role as Goldilocks having played several other parts in previous years and it is made all the more special by her older sister Imogen playing Prince Edwin.

Marcus Burnside is back by popular demand as the wonderful Dame Trott and Matthew Russel is a natural as her son and village idiot. The 50 strong cast including the Sarah Ashworth Dancers is swelled by other society stalwarts such as Colin Wragg and Stephen Temple but it is also nice to welcome Paula Paylor to the role of the Forest Fairy.

Luke Arnold, from Pickering Musical Society, said: “We would love to welcome you all to our theatre and hope to see you there.”

Goldilocks & The Three Bears runs until Saturday, January 20 and tickets can be bought the via the Kirk Theatre box office on 01751 474833 or via the website www.kirktheatre.co.uk.

Ticket prices start at £12 with a family ticket priced at £44.
