THE LIBERTINES have announced the two acts that will be supporting them in Scarborough Spa’s Grand Hall next month.

Solo hip hop come indie rock artist Rat Boy, along with punk musician, lyricist and writer Lucie Barât will perform before the Peter Doherty led band on Tuesday, September 26.

Although Rat Boy is only just about to release his debut studio album ‘Scum’, he’s already developed a huge fan base across the UK. He signed with Parlophone records which led to winning ‘Best New Act’ with MTV Brand New and BBC Sound of 2016, and ‘Best New Artist’ with NME Awards.

Lucie Barât, sister of The Libertines’ guitarist Carl Barât, will also take to the stage. Having always performed in bands, combining a love of writing and performing, Lucie has recorded with legendary David Bowie producer, Mark Plati and more recently with The Au Revoirs.

Now, embarking on a solo career, Lucie’s drive, passion, on stage presence, and thought provoking lyrics fit perfectly alongside a contemporary, beat driven synth/pop sound.

The Libertines are to play Scarborough Spa Grand Hall on their Tiddeley Om Pom Pom Tour as part of “a unique run of shows that will only be performed at seven British seaside towns”.

A limited number of tickets are available from www.scarboroughspa.co.uk or via the Scarborough Spa Box Office on 01723 821888.
