STEVE Shanyaski, Adam Rowe, Craig Deeley and master of ceremonies Damion Larkin form the 8pm bill for the Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club night at York Barbican on April 28.
Storytelling comic Stevei thrilled millions on ITV’s Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks and the young Mancunian has been charming crowds with his unique mix of gags and songs for long enough to become one of the most sought-after acts in the country.
Steve walked out on a mind-numbing office job and straight on to a comedy stage at the start of 2003 and has not looked back since. Within six months, he had progressed to the BBC New Comedian of the Year semi-finals and the North West Comedian of the Year final, and later that year he appeared on the BBC7 Radio showcase Spanking New.
He has has gone on to play Comedy Store, Glee Club, and Jongleurs and has performed his comedy throughout the world to an audience as diverse as bikers in a field and royalty in a theatre.
Adam Rowe started comedy as a child prodigy and within a year was named Liverpool Comedian of the Year ; his affable nature and 100mph approach make him a regular at Britain's biggest comedy clubs with his true-to-life stories. Craig Deeley has everyman charm, a dash of the X factor and a twinkle in his eye to go with his witty anecdotes and cutting-edge one-liners.
Tickets cost £17 on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk or £20 on the door from 7.30pm.
