LOCALLY-BASED artists will be showcasing their work at the North Yorkshire Artists Exhibition over the Easter weekend.

Held at Pickering Memorial Hall, from Friday to Monday, the exhibition is in aid of Saint Catherine's.

The exhibition is being organised by local award-winning artist Amanda Pickles.

She said: “Over the past 15 years I have raised over £4,000 for charity by organising the exhibition on behalf of various charities, from raising funds to renovate the Whistler ‘Tea Party’ wall painting in the Memorial hall to raising funds for Saint Catherine's. This charity will again benefit from the raffle of an original painting and donations during the exhibition."

Artists exhibiting are: Sally Tozer, Penny Wicks, Linda Mosley, Shirley Rowling, Eddy Crick, Alison Warne and Amanda J Pickles.

There will be an intriguing mix of Media, including Tiffany style stained glass, ceramics, Acrylic, Mixed Media, Watercolours with subjects from animal portraits, local scenes to abstracts.

The Exhibition is open daily 10am to 5pm Until Arpil 17. Refreshments will be available.
