THE MODFATHER Paul Weller will be appearing at the York Barbican on Friday, April 7 as part of a nationwide tour.

As before in March 2015, this tour sees Paul play a slightly more varied selection of towns and venues across the UK than the usual run of arenas. Paul will also be headlining a show for The Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall on March 31.

In 2012, Paul was among the British cultural icons selected by artist Sir Peter Blake to appear in a new version of his most famous artwork – the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover – to celebrate the British cultural figures of his life. He has received four Brit Awards, winning the award for Best British Male twice, and the 2006 Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Paul’s eagerly awaited new album will be out in the Spring on Parlophone Records.
