SCOTTISH singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald will play York Barbican on March 29 in the only Yorkshire show of her first British tour in four years.
Amy has released three albums - 2007's This Is The Life, 2010's A Curious Thing and 2012's Life In A Beautiful Light, accruing more than five million sales worldwide, including 1.5 million in Britain. Her fourth album is due for release shortly.
She last played a North Yorkshire gig at the Scarborough Spa Grand Hall in July 2013, having made her Barbican debut in March that year in her first appearance in York since the Glaswegian drew a full house to Fibbers in the week of release of This Is The Life in August 2007 at the age of 19.
York tickets can be booked on 0844 854 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the Barbican box office.
