THE Tailormade – crowned the best buskers in London – will support Busted when they play Scarborough this week.

The youthful three-piece are fast carving out a reputation for belting out high energy indie-pop tunes to keep their gigs bouncing and full of fun.

Now they are to join the line-up for Busted’s gig at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Friday.

Tailormade’s Jack Frimston said: “We’re massively excited to support Busted and play our biggest gig to date with them – we’ve all grown up with their music and we’re big fans.

“There’s definitely a little bit of Busted in our sound and we’ve got a full band with us on the night so we’re aiming to bring the fun factor and get everyone warmed up for a wicked night of music.

“With our new single is coming out in October and we’re looking forward to giving people a taste of what we’re all about and hopefully they’ll all come with us on our journey.”

Jack is joined by bandmates and fellow singer-songwriters Matt Pickersgill and Aaron Murphy who came together through a shared passion for music when they were studying at Carlisle University.

Since then they have developed their own cheeky brand of "no nonsense Brit Pop" which has made them a huge hit with their army of fans.

In 2014 the band were named as Best Buskers in London following a five-month talent search, beating off stiff competition from hundreds of musicians who entered Gigs Big Busk backed by then London mayor Boris Johnson.

The band have had a bumper year supporting the likes of Blue, Rebecca Ferguson, CeeLo Green and Lemar, plus performing at Pride in London in Trafalgar Square to an audience of 20,000 people.

Also on the bill are Yorkshire rockers Frazer, who hail from the suburbs of Sheffield and Barnsley.
