LAUGHTER is guaranteed when Yorkshire’s award-winning author, radio and TV personality Gervase Phinn brings his side-splitting evening of story-telling to Malton’s Milton Rooms next month.
Phinn has delighted audiences all over the country recounting some of his experiences as a teacher for 14 years before becoming a school inspector in the Yorkshire Dales. His well-known books are best-selling memoirs of his school days and he is a regular writer and broadcaster.
With his hilarious and sometimes poignant tales, anecdotes and poems, father-of-four Phinn has a keen ear for the absurd and sharp eye for the ludicrous.
He follows in the footsteps of Michael Portillo and Giles Brandreth, who have both delighted audiences at the Milton Rooms with their one-man shows.
Tickets for an Evening with Gervase Phinn on Friday, September 9, priced £14, are on sale at the box office in Malton or by phoning 01653 696240.
