THE York Military Wives Choir will perform in the Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa on Friday, September 30.

The choir was founded in January 2013 as a member of the Military Wives Choir network, which has choirs not only in the UK but across the world.

There are currently more than 75 choirs in over eight countries with over 3,000 members.

Established as a charity in 2012, The Military Wives Choirs Foundation was set up to support choirs and to help provide tools to help run choirs and training to its members.

The performance is part of the Rotary 1220 Conference, where the balconies in the Grand Hall will be open to the public.

Tickets for York Military Wives Choir are £8 and are available from the Scarborough Spa Box Office on 01723 821888 and via scarboroughspa.co.uk
