THE Arcubus Ensemble are a London based chamber choir who present a regular series of recitals at St Mary-le-Bow in the city and regularly perform in festivals and concerts throughout the UK.

On Saturday they will be appearing at Helmsley Arts Centre bringing together the choral music of young composers Russell Hepplewhite, Alex Patterson and Thomas Hewitt Jones to sit alongside pieces from York composers Dr Francis Jackson, Andrew Carter and Dr Philip Moore, creating an evening of sublime choral singing.

The evening is to be introduced by local actor Dominic Goodwin, now the co-owner with his wife Rosemary, of Banks Music Publications, which publishes all the music sung in this concert.

Tickets are available from Helmsley Arts Centre box office 01439 771700 or go to helmsleyarts.co.uk
