BIG-time wrestling returns to Malton next month for the first time in more than 15 years with one of Europe’s premier touring shows promising family entertainment, lights, glitz and glamour live on stage.

Now celebrating seven years of successfully touring the country, Megaslam’s wrestling contest at the Milton Rooms will feature some of the most fun-filled, daredevil moves from the UK’s top stars in the ring against a host of overseas names in an all-out fight to the finish.

“I’m really looking forward to bringing wrestling back to Malton after so long,” said Megaslam owner and founder Brad Taylor.

“Wrestling has changed a lot in that time. Everyone can enjoy the spectacle, young or old it doesn't matter, it's a fantastic family experience. Our shows will never contain any swearing or content unsuitable for children.”

The Malton bill boasts some of the biggest names in Megaslam wrestling, including fiery Northampton good guy Terry Isit, who has forged an army of fans across the country, Mexican Sensation El Ligero and the Russian Nightmare Boris Koslov. The evening will also feature a return of the one-night Golden Grappler Knockout Tournament last held in Malton more than 20 years ago when it was won by the star of TV wrestling Jackie Pallo.

Tickets for the two-hour action-packed event on Saturday, February 13, at 7.30pm, include a special offer of £40 for a family of four. Individual adult tickets are £15 (£10 for under 14s), now available at the Milton Rooms box office in Malton or by phone 01653 696240.
