BACK by popular demand, Whitby Pavilion cinema will be hosting more showings of Minions, with afternoon and evening showings from August 31 to September 5.

Children and adults all over the world have been falling in love with the yellow creatures.

Over thousands of centuries, the Minions have travelled the globe in search for a strong, powerful leader to give them guidance, balance and, of course, a source of food.

Over that time, they have acquired a huge variety of different leaders, including a T-Rex, the Pharaohs, Napoleon and Count Dracula.

Unfortunately, all these leaders met a terrible end in the hands of the Minions, who only meant well.

In their latest search for a new villain to be their leader, Kevin, Stuart, Bob and friends reach the shores of New York, circa 1968. Join the gang to see if they will find their perfect leader and the adventures they endure along the way.

This hilarious animated comedy features the voice talents of Sandra Bullock (Gravity), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Michael Keaton (Birdman), Allison Janney (American Beauty) and Steve Coogan (Alan Partridge).

Jill Gomez-Manion, operations and events manager, said: “We are very excited to welcome back the Minions to Whitby Pavilion Cinema. They proved to be extremely popular during the previous showings.”

Minions will be shown at 2.30pm and 7pm on Monday, August, 31, 2.30pm on Wednesday, September 2 and 11.30am on Saturday, September 5.

Other upcoming cinema announcements at Whitby Pavilion Cinema include Pixels, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and Absolutely Anything.
