FOLLOWING their sell out-show earlier this year, The Simon and Garfunkel Story will return to Scarborough Spa next year.

The group will be celebrated again in the town immortalised in one of their most famous songs with a new version of the hit show on Sunday, September 11.

With 50 years elapsing since the recording of their first hit single, The Sounds of Silence, which shot them to fame overnight, award-winning West End performer Dean Elliot will lead a cast of talented actors and musicians in The Spa’s Theatre.

The Simon and Garfunkel Story features West End leading man Dean as Paul Simon, who shot to fame in the West End as lead actor in Olivier Award nominated musical Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, and David Tudor takes up the role of Garfunkel.

With recreations of Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence and many more this night of beautiful music is sure to please music lovers of all generations.

Using original photographs and film footage, the show also features a full live band performing in stunning style all of Simon and Garfunkel’s hits.

Tickets for The Simon and Garfunkel Story are available from The Spa box office on 01723 821888 and via scarboroughspa.co.uk
