THIS summer Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre’s (SJT) OutReach department stages a new series of the children’s favourite Tiny Time Tales - Sally by the Sea.

Expect fun and nonsense in these interactive performances designed for youngsters, aged two to seven, and their grown-ups. Children are invited to get involved, solve puzzles, play games and sing and dance along with the colourful characters they meet each week.

Poor old Sally Ragdoll. The last thing she remembers is being on holiday with her lovely friend Tommy and his Mummy and Daddy and now here she is washed up, on the seashore, all covered in shells and seaweed. She has no idea how long she's been here and definitely no idea how to find her way home.

Come along and watch as Sally meets the weird and wonderful creatures who live by the sea.

SJT outreach officer Cheryl Govan, who has written and directed the shows, said: “Saturday mornings just wouldn’t be the same without Tiny Time Tales. We hope you’ll come and join us and keep your summer as ridiculous as ours.”

Tiny Time Tales - Sally by the Sea takes place in the restaurant at the SJT from 10.30am, on July 25 and August 1, 8, 15 and 22. Tickets, priced at £3, are available from the box office on 01723 370541 and online at sjt.uk.com
