SCARBOROUGH photographer Tony Bartholomew will look at the history of the seaside snap in the next of Scarborough Art Gallery’s 2015 series of lunchtime talks.

Tony’s talk tomorrow (Thursday) will look at the history of the holiday picture and some of the cameras used by holiday-makers over the years.

He has more than 25 years’ experience working for leading news and media organisations.

Tickets for the lunchtime talks, which will usually take place on the third Thursday of the month, are £2. They start at 12.30pm and last about an hour. To book, phone the art gallery on 01723 374753.

The next exhibition at Scarborough Art Gallery, Seaside Snaps, can be seen at the gallery from March 28 to June 21.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Saturdays, from 10am to 5pm, plus bank holidays.
