Folk festival’s top line-up THE line-up has been announced for this summer’s Beverley Folk Festival at the town’s racecourse.
The event will start on June 18, with the Bootleg Beatles performing some of the classic hits of the Fab Four, along with an orchestra.
Weekend headliners include the alternative band Hayseed Dixie from the heart of the Appalachian Mountains in the USA, Mercury Prize-nominated new-folk artist Seth Lakeman and legendary singer-songwriters from England and Scotland, Ralph McTell, Barbara Dickson and Rab Noakes.
“Back by popular demand is the Scottish band the Peatbog Faeries who will bring their own brand of 21st century Celtic dance music to the weekend,” said a spokeswoman.
