ONE of the world’s most popular Queen Tribute bands is set to visit Scarborough Spa next October.

Killer Queen have been performing their live tribute to the exhilarating experience that was Queen since 1993, thrilling sell-out audiences across the globe, from the UK to Moscow and now as part of a European 2015 tour they will visit The Spa’s Grand Hall on Saturday, October 3.

Their expert musicianship, extraordinary energy and eerily accurate portrayal of one of the world’s greatest live bands make this concert a must-see for all Queen fans. Killer Queen’s world-class status was recognised by the music industry when Madness presented them with the title of World-Wide Tribute Band of the Year in 1999.

The band is fronted by Patrick Myers whose uncanny resemblance and vocal likeness to Freddie Mercury earned him a number-one single when he sang on Fat Boy Slim’s record The Real Life.

This quality, combined with a powerful three-and-a-half octave tenor range and dynamic stage presence, has captivated audiences the world over.

Patrick Myers is supported by his superb four-piece band, hand-picked to emulate Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor, along with the most spectacular stage set, stunning costumes and special effects.

Performing hit records that span Queen’s entire recording career, from The Seven Seas Of Rye through to their nineties classics. Killer Queen captures the style and excitement of a live Queen concert.

Jo Ager, General Manager of Scarborough Spa, said: “We have recently had some fantastic nights of music with tributes to Fleetwood Mac & Billy Joel and we are delighted that the world No.1 Queen tribute act will be visiting The Spa in the new year.”

Tickets are available via www.scarboroughspa.co.uk and The Spa Box Office on 01723 821888.
