The popular Bolshoi Ballet Live season continues at Helmsley Arts Centre on Sunday, at 3pm, with The Legend of Love, one of Russian master Yuri Grigorovich’s earliest choreographic works, and a moving story of forbidden love.
Parents looking for things to do during half-term need look no further as there is a Halloween-themed Little Monsters workshop for nine to 13-year-olds on Monday, October 27, from 10am to 3.30pm.
Spend the day with artist Andrew Dalton making and decorating larger-than-life monstrous self-portraits to take home and scare your friends.
Continuing the sinister theme, legendary theatre company Horse and Bamboo is coming to Helmsley on Wednesday, October 29, at 2.30pm, with their production of Hansel and Gretel.
Featuring projections, puppetry, music and masks, this show is suitable for adults and children from five years and up.
