LULU is set to perform at York Barbican next year.
The legendary Scottish singer songwriter, who performed at the Closing Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, is taking in York when she embarks on her first solo UK tour in more than ten years in May.
The tour, which will reach the Barbican on Thursday May 14, will coincide with a brand new album – her first since 2005.
Lulu said she had always loved doing live gigs and felt re-invigorated and ready to get back on the road again. "Even before I ever had a hit record I was doing three or four live gigs each week," she added.
Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow.
