JAKE Bugg will follow up his August appearance on the Leeds Festival main stage by headlining a celebratory one-off show at Leeds First Direct Arena on Sunday, October 19.

The 20-year-old Nottingham troubadour will be joined by Irish folk-pop duo Hudson Taylor and Skinny Living, a Wakefield four-piece with roots in Bangor, Northern Ireland, to mark the 25th anniversary of venue sponsors First Direct and the Leeds Arena's first birthday.

Bugg's first Arena gig in Leeds comes in the wake of a summer of festival appearances at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, building on the momentum of his two albums, 2012's chart-topping self-titled debut and 2013's Shangri La. This autumn he is to tour the North American arena circuit with The Black Keys.

Expect to hear such Bugg biggies as Two Fingers, Seen It All, Taste It, What Doesn’t Kill You and latest single There’s A Beast And We All Feed It at next month's Leeds gig.

Tickets go on sale at £15 at 9am tomorrow on 0844 248 1585, at firstdirectarena.com or in person from the box office, now relocated to the venue.
