ONLY a few of the discounted tickets for this year’s Galtres Parklands Festival are left.

This year’s festival, which returns to Duncombe Park, in Helmsley, to celebrate its 10th year, features more than 100 bands, including The Human League, Levellers, Bellowhead and Public Service Broadcasting, plus 100 different Yorkshire beers and ciders and family activities.

The discount is intended to make the festival affordable for people who live in the area around the festival’s current site in Helmsley, and around its former site in Crayke, near Easingwold.

To qualify, you have to have a YO62 or YO61 postcode – both the address to which tickets are dispatched, and the payment card address or PayPal address.

There is a limit of 10 tickets per household.

“It’s important for our event, following its move last year, to gain the support of the people who live in and around Helmsley, as well as continuing to reward the loyalty of people who live near Crayke,” said organiser James Houston.

“We hope they will come and enjoy it in its fabulous setting on the edge of the North York Moors at Duncombe Park.

“We’ll be running buses to and from the site in Helmsley connecting directly with Easingwold and York - or try our beautiful riverside campsite. We’ve even got glamping if you want to do it in style.”

To get your discount, enter the code YO61 or YO62 in the discount code box at checkout and its automatically applied – £40 off an adult weekend ticket.
