A HARPIST known to her fans as the “incredible string blonde” will play at the Inspired by… gallery at The Moors National Park Centre, in Danby, on Sunday, May 4.
Accomplished singer, songwriter and composer Sarah Dean has been delighting audiences for many years with her 29-stringed “Stoney End” Celtic harp.
The North Yorkshire harpist has played at venues worldwide, and supported artists, including folk stars Martin Carthy, Norma Waterson and Lindisfarne.
Janet Deacon, North Yorkshire area director for Welcome to Yorkshire, said: “What could be more romantic than listening to gorgeous music in the beautiful surroundings of the North York Moors National Park?”
Sarah will give two performances on Sunday, May 4, at noon and 2pm. Each will last about 45 minutes.
Admission is free, but book in advance on 01439 772737 or send an email to moorscentre@northyorkmoors.org.uk
