THE winter exhibition at Gallery Forty-Nine, in Bridlington, has a vintage twist.
As part of the selection there are some furnishing pieces, including lamps, appliqued cushions by Liz Foster and a tartan patchwork chair.
There are also vintage paintings by David Watson, prints and etchings by David Hockney and modern, vintage- style prints by Pam Grimmond, Mark Hearld, Carry Akroyd and Peter Blake. Claire West has produced some new paintings for the exhibition inspired by some of her favourite vintage finds.
The exhibition, which runs until December 22, also features new work by Sharon Winter, Giuliana Lazzerini and Corinne Young, Jane Redfern, John Egerton and the students of Jacqueline Warrington.
