Malton Cookery School is opening its doors for a country house cooking course next month, led by Lady Isabella Naylor-Leyland.

Participants of the day-long course will learn basic skills, including making “very short pastry” and the perfect mashed potatoes. Complete dishes will include oregano chicken, Isabella’s ultimate mash, Tarte a la Russe, Mexican wedding biscuits, cold tomato soup and pelargonium leaf cake.
