IT WAS wooden spoons at the ready for competitors in the Great Harome Bake Off.

The event was held to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society as part of its annual Cake Break fundraiser.

Emma Dodsworth, who organised the event alongside Andrew Pern, from The Star Inn, Harome, said they had raised £569.
