IN the heart of Northern England, the Forest of Bowland is a magical area of colourful scenery, peace and tranquillity reflected in its villages and people.
Andy Stansfield presents this area in a stunning array of photographs, taken through all the seasons, which bring the whole area alive. He concentrates on the landscape because it is there that the beauty of the region lies but we are also given glimpses of the wild life and activities that can be enjoyed in the region.
There is an accompanying text, but it is the pictures that will draw you to the area, tempting you to find your own interests and activities there, whether they be through walking, climbing, photography or just relaxing and replenishing yourself.
