YORKSHIRE’S best loved chef has triumphed again.
With mouth-watering recipes, James Martin shows us that by preparing goodquality ingredients and marinating or slow cooking them for at least an hour, a sumptuous meal can be produced with very little fuss.
Many of the recipes are based on good old-fashioned food used by his grandmother, while others are what James picked up when learning in London or on his travels round Europe, so there is something here for everyone.
Recipes include puddings, bakes, stews and soups, as well as fish, roasts and vegetables. They are easy to follow and the photographs truly make your mouth water.
This is a beautifully produced book that should be a winner for the Christmas market.
