ST Peter’s Church in Norton is making a Remembrance Mosaic to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.

Anyone who would like to take part in the event is invited to drop into the church between 10am and 1pm on Saturday.

A Remembrance Service will be held at 9.45am on Sunday, including the laying of wreaths.

The church will be open from 2pm to 4pm for anyone who wants to visit Norton’s War memorial, which is in the chapel.
