MALTON: Police are appealing for information about a suspected arson attack on Old Malton Road at 8pm on Saturday evening.
Twenty-five bails of hay were set ablaze at the site, behind Malton Cricket Ground, causing £250 damage.
Sergeant Anna Rees of Malton Police Station said: "At present we do not believe there are any witnesses to the incident, and we are appealing to people to come forward if they know anything about it."
NORTON: A thief broke into a Peugeot 306 in the car park of Grampian Country Pork Factory on Friday and stole a car stereo and some cash.
PICKERING: Vandals caused £400 damage to a Vauxhall Tigra parked in The Ropery car park in Pickering between 8.30am and 11.30am on Friday by denting the driver's door.

NORTON: A pedal bike was stolen from outside the Hyde Park pub in Mill Street, Norton, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
PICKERING: Burglars stole £1,470 worth of tools from a garage in Kingfisher Drive, Pickering, between Thursday and Monday.
NORTON: A vandal scratched a silver Vauxhall Astra parked in Ryedale Close in Norton between Friday night and Saturday morning.
PICKERING: A thief snatched a hanging basket full of Busy Lizzies worth £30 from Langdale in Pickering on Saturday.
PICKERING: A blue BMX Mongoose worth £200 was stolen from Southgate in Pickering on Thursday.
