The Lifestyle questionnaire

Claire Lishman, whose family live in Pickering, is the new marketing and theatre manager at Helmsley Arts Centre

How do you relax?

Chilling out on the sofa with a bar of chocolate and watching trashy TV - Corrie, Eastenders, X-Factor and anything with Ant and Dec in it!

What's the one thing you would most like to change about yourself?

I wish I didn't like cakes and chocolate quite as much as I do!

How would you want to be remembered?

As someone who always had a smile on my face. . . even when the going got tough.

What do you feel guilty about?

Not picking up the phone and ringing my friends enough. It's far too easy now just to send an email or a text message.

What are you most proud of?

Completing four half-marathons. For the last four years I've done the Great North Run each year and managed to raise a bit of money for charity in the process.

What word or phrase do you overuse?

Help!

Where do you go for some retail therapy?

That depends on how much money I have! I love a bargain so adore Primark and Matalan, although you can't beat Monsoon for a special occasion.

What makes you angry?

Students having to leave university with thousands of pounds of debt. People on public transport who take up two seats with their bags when other people are standing up. And Heather Mills!

Who do you admire?

A fabulous lady called Trina Jones who is the general manager of Birmingham Repertory Theatre. I started my career in theatre at Birmingham and Trina inspired me a lot in what I wanted to do, and still continues to do so now.

Where is your spiritual retreat?

Huddersfield! I lived there for five years and fell in love with the place. It's where I flee to now when I need a bit of time away and to see some friends who always know how to make me smile.
